River research homework – the answers!

Thank you very much for your very positive responses to this homework! Lots of you had great fun looking for the answers on the internet – really important for your research skills! It is interesting that the lengths of the rivers given by many websites vary. We think this is because it is very difficult to tell exactly where a river begins (the source) and where it ends (the mouth). It must be very tricky measuring rivers. How do you think it is done? Please comment!

Here are the answers I found, but remember, yours may be different!
