A Great Week!

What a busy week it has been! It was great to see Darren Ford from Lewes FC and get to hold the Conference South Champion’s trophy. Well done to Charlie and Jake for escorting Darren around the school and taking lots of photos. Also well done to Connor, Grace, Rachel and Bradleigh for working so hard on ICT at Ringmer Community College, and to Rosie for representing us so magnificently at maths, also at the college on Wednesday.

Congratulations to Jade for finishing top in this week’s tables challenge (and a special mention to Josie for such a big improvement in her score).

The Year 5 garden is doing brilliantly. We’ve had lots of strawberries, and the first pods are appearing on the pea and the broad bean plants. We now have a water butt, so soon we won’t have to keep filling our watering cans from the tap indoors.

This week I know we are all sad to say goodbye to Miss Saunders. It has been great to have her teaching you in year 5. We will miss her kindness and her fun lessons. Good luck in your future teaching career Miss Saunders, and don’t forget our postcard from sunny Greece!
